Fulham Power Station during demolision work.

The power station was to be demolished and General Demolition employed Hud Scaffolding to erect the scaffold to form an envelope around the structure to stop masonry falling.

The building abutted the Harbour Club which would remain open during demolition. General Demolition had to dismantle a 88 ton iron girder which spanned 30 metres directly adjacent to the Harbour Club.

Hud Scaffolding supplied a scaffold to hold the iron girder while it was cut into smaller pieces and lowered using a crane, but maintaining the use of the Harbour Club car park.

Once the demolition of the power station was complete Hud Scaffolding then provided the access scaffolding to build the Big Yellow Self Storage unit for J Sisks.
